The oldest and largest Jewish educational institution in Michigan, Yeshiva Beth Yehudah is a launchpad for generations of Jewish leaders, thinkers, and scholars.
At the Yeshiva, we see the future in the eyes of every child who comes through our doors.
The Yeshiva is
more than a school.
It’s at the heart of the Metro Detroit Jewish community.
Serving 1,300+ children and 1,000+ adults each week in a rich array of community and educational programming, Yeshiva Beth Yehudah is more than an educational institution: it’s a movement.
It’s where bright, curious minds of all ages and backgrounds come to warm their souls and grow in their love of Jewish learning. It’s where Detroit’s Jewish community joins together — in unity, growth, and love.

The beliefs we stand for & the ideals we live by
We accept every family, regardless of its economic situation. We believe finances should never be a barrier to exceptional education + opportunity.
Our robust dual curriculum integrates Judaic and general studies, teaching children the values and skills to succeed not only in the workplace, but as people.
Our wide range of extracurricular activities gives students non-academic opportunities to develop skills and build character.
We don’t do cookie-cutter education: over 40% of our students receive some form of special education, therapy, reading assistance, mentorship programs, gifted-student programs, and more.
